Alejandro Romero Reche is a senior lecturer at the Sociology Department of the University of Granada (Spain), where he teaches Contemporary Sociological Theory and Electoral Sociology.
He has published several books and articles, mainly in the sociologies of humour and conspiracy theories, including “Sociología de las teorías de la conspiración” (Sociology of Conspiracy Theories, 2023) and an illustrated guide for the general public on Spanish right-wing conspiracy theories, “Contubernios nacionales” (National Contrivances, 2021). His approach to conspiracy theories is usually framed within the theoretical traditions of the sociology of knowledge.
